-1999? 2000? Date?? This was our first show ever! @ The Sad Cafe, Plaistow, NH w/ special Guests RICK + more
--More shows occured between 1999-2001, but
I'm not sure of dates, places, etc.. We played the Artspace
in Gloucester, MA, more times that I could count - that is the
best venue ever. Great place, great owner (Shep), highly recommended!!
--I know that we played at least one person's basement show/party.
And a few times at the Lawrence KOC (one show featured a ridiculously
crazy cover of Sonic Youth's Pacific Coast Highway). A
church in Saugus... Some place outside of Boston for a Battle
of the Bands (possibly Medford?), which was hilarious! The other
band showed up real late, so we played a 3 hour set! The other
band won the battle, but we won the war!!!
--Our setlist usually consisted of any of the following songs:
Judgemental & Boring, Nothing Else, Star Ring, ABC, Hammock,
Swell, Reality, Uranus is Famous, I'll Be Home for Xmas, Acceptable
Rejection.
--Songs we covered at shows include: To Keep Me (That Dog),
Where is My Mind? (Pixies), Making the Nature Scene
(Sonic Youth), Pacific Coast Highway (Sonic Youth), #1
Must Have (Sleater-Kinney).
--And of course, every set included a good bit of improvisational
mayhem. For some shows, our entire set was improvisation - no
songs!
